Tomorrow is that ethereal place which never seems to be within reach. It is like a mirage in the desert that disappears at its arrival. Many of those things you plan to do tomorrow remain on a waiting list because “tomorrow never comes.” When you think it’s finally here, you discover it is today again.
Tomorrow is important because it holds the future. We need tomorrow because we cannot possibly fulfill all of our dreams and goals in a day. The problem is that if we only live for tomorrow, we will lose the opportunity of today. If we take good care of today, tomorrow will take care of itself.

Jesus said, “Do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own.”
Practical Application and Assignments:
Today sets the stage for the drama that will unfold tomorrow. The only sure thing about tomorrow is that you will reap whatever you sow today.
- Plan for tomorrow. Your dream will remain a dream until it becomes a vision with a plan. Wishing cannot bring it to pass. You need a plan. Schedule specific dates and deadlines for future goals. Procrastination will cause your plans to evaporate into that mystical illusion of “someday.”
- Take advantage of the moment. Hank Stram said, “Yesterday is a cancelled check. Today is cash. Tomorrow is a promissory note.”
- Guard the choices you make today. Remember the parable of the ‘Rich Fool.’ Instead of sharing his inheritance, the rich man built bigger barns. His philosophy was to eat, drink, be merry, and selfishly sustain only himself. But God said, “Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee. Then who will own your possessions?” Luke 12:20
“Seek ye the Lord, while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6
