Where would we be without the inventions of this past century? How would teenagers survive without Alexander Graham Bell’s invention of the telephone? Can you imagine life without Thomas Edison’s light bulb? If Henry Ford had not invented the automobile assembly line, how long would it take you to get to work everyday? Would you ever have dreamed the Wright Brother’s airplane would one day inspire us to explore outer space? What about the global effects of Bill Gates DOS Operative System and Windows?
Victor Hugo said, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” Great need has always been the inspiration of great ingenuity. The capacity of a nation to develop its natural resources especially in times of war or economic distress is amazing. God formed each of us with inherent creative ability. Don’t wait for someone else to invent what you need.

Practical Application and Assignments:
You don’t need to be a scientist. For example, who invented the pull-tab on a soda pop can? Maybe somebody in your hometown! You just need incentive. We have not even begun to discover the creativity God has placed within us.
- Remember thetowerofBabel! The people were arrogantly building a tower in an attempt to elevate themselves above God. - Tap into that creativity. Use your imagination. You could be only one idea away from becoming a millionaire. Submit your ideas to God for approval and always give God the glory for your success.
