Boldness refuses to be intimidated. It is a daring, courageous, intrepid, fearless force. Boldness that is based on confidence connected to delegated authority is not afraid to take command of any situation. For example, the Bible states that satan goes around as a roaring lion seeking whom he “may” devour. The only authority satan has over anyone is that which he usurps through deception and intimidation. We have the authority to boldly declare: You may not! “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
Recognize your God-given authority. Boldness will take you through doors that cowardice is afraid to enter. Don’t be afraid of life. Don’t run from life. Instead, take hold of life with confidence and you will experience everything God has ordained for you.

Practical Application and Assignments:
Shyness is the opposite of boldness. Shy people are often described as being fearful, distrusting, and lacking in self-confidence. They avoid contact with people outside their privacy perimeter and retreat from anything unfamiliar,
- Work on your self-esteem. The opinion of others is influenced by the perception you have of yourself. Self-confidence encourages boldness. If necessary, have a complete make-over “inside and out” through self-talk and self-improvement.
- Take charge of your life. A decision to be bold will be tested with opportunities that require an act of courage or a step of faith. You cannot stand up on the “outside,” until you stand up on the “inside.”
- Be bold. Experience life. Step out of your comfort zone. Get out of the corner. Get on the dance floor. When God is your partner, if you follow His lead, you will confidently move to the rhythm of God’s plan.
