Have you become so busy and weighed down with the cares of life that living is not fun anymore? Relaxation is not a waste of time. It is an extremely important part of life. Our educational system understands the value of fun and relaxation. The children are given a recess during each school day to play, relax their mind, and be refreshed. Jesus understood the value of relaxation. He took time away from the crowd and His daily routine.
In the sports arena, sometimes a “time out” is extended during the game in order for the team to catch their breath and determine the necessary strategy to win. Recess is a “time out” in the game of life. Take time to relax today. You are never too old for recess.
Isaiah 30:15
“…In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
