Depression is a destructive, invasive force that can rob you of your joy, peace, courage, and finally of your energy and strength to even face another day. It is a mental state of despondency and melancholy that will steal your health and drain the very life out of you. It is like the black clouds that move in suddenly on a stormy day and fill the atmosphere with gloom and despair.
David said in Psalm 42:5 (AMP), “Why are you cast down, Oh my inner self?…And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me?” But following this cry of his heart he says, “Hope in God… for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.”
Psalm 30:5
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
