REALLIFE STUDY GROUP

"The Truth About Divine Appointments!"

ICEBREAKER:  Tell us one of the most adventurous things you have ever done.

INTRODUCTION:  Today's lesson is a reminder that God has set divine appointments and unexpected opportunities for just about every day.  In Acts 8, Phillip was instructed by an angel that God has set a divine appointment for him with an Ethiopian in the desert who was reading from the book of Isaiah. So Phillip went and God used him to present the Gospel to him.

CONFESSION: There is a divine appoint for me. I am looking for opportunities to share my faith and encourage others. I am ready and in position for God to use me. I anticipate the inevitable supernatural intervention of God! I expect miracles, signs and wonders every day!

DEFINITION: Divine Appointment: When God supernaturally sets an appointment for you to meet with someone in need or for a Kingdom connection that is just too God to be a coincidence.

Psalm 37:23:

Steps: the direction or goings on or forth

Good Man: Not just a nice person, but rather a warring fighter that refuses to give up and has a righteous cause to fight for.

Ordered: established, directed like an arrow, ordained, founded, continued
