But, beloved, remember ye the words which were
spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How
that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk
after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the
Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up
yourselves on your most holy faith, PRAYING in the Holy Ghost, KEEP yourselves
in the love of God, LOOKING for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal
life. And of some HAVE compassion,
making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire;
hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you
faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty,
dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
(Jude 1:17-25 KJV)
2.
Be Prepared....Count the cost: Ask the
hard questions. What will be the time
commitment, emotional expense, relational investment, energy output, resource
requirement?
For which of you, intending to build a tower,
sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have
sufficient to finish it? Lest haply,
after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that
behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able
to finish. (Luke 14: 28-30 KJV)

The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him
that soweth righteousness [shall be] a SURE reward. (Proverbs 11:18 KJV)
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth SURE,
having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of
Christ depart from iniquity.
(2 Timothy 2:19 KJV)

Stay the steady course no matter how hard it gets. Be consistent through the resistance!
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:
but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, I PRESS toward the mark for the prize
of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
