STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:
1.
The
only power the enemy has over the believer is the power we surrender to
him. When we speak against ourselves we
empower and arm the enemy with the power to use our words against us. Give us an example of something believers
might say that the enemy might use against them?
2.
As
a group, identify at least six or seven different types of power.
3.
Empowered
people raise the bar, lift the standard, break the records, take the challenge,
overcome the obstacles, make the difference, stop the madness, fill the
emptiness, beat the odds, win the war, lose the dead weight, expose the
weakness, challenge the status quo, expect the unexpected, conquer the fear,
fulfill the dream, heal the hurting, solve the unsolvable, reach for the unreachable,
free the captives, feed the hungry, remove the shame, meet the need. Which of the above empowered results speaks
to you most?
4.
Mark
3:14, 15 says discples are empowered to preach the Word, heal the sick and cast
out devils. Why do many believers in the
USA rarely use these delegated powers?
5.
What
is the most draining thing or thought in your life right now?
6.
What
do you do to spiritually power up?
7.
Identify
somebody in the Bible that was powerful and used their powers to empower
others. Explain.
