“Kick out the Thieves!”

ICEBREAKER:  Tell us the hottest temperature you ever remember being in and where you were?

TEXT:  Matthew 21:1-17; John 10:1-10; 1 Corinthians 6:19

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.   1 Corinthians 6:19 says that our Bodies are the Temple of the Holy Spirit.  Name one thing that must change when God comes to live in us?

2.   Jesus said you have made my house a den of thieves. Jesus threw the thieves out of the temple and turned their tables over. What was the last thing that the enemy, the thief, tried to steal from you or your family?

3.   After Jesus threw the thieves out He healed the blind and the lame. The blind represent the lack of vision, while the lame represents the lack of forward advancement or momentum. Once we deal with our internal issues or in other words the lies that we have bought into that the thief has set up in our to soul to  steal our destiny, then God restores our vision for the future and restores the ability to go forth and possess it. Describe an area you have felt spiritually blind in and have needed godly insight and wisdom. (Finances, Communication skills, Discipline, Relationships, Understanding the Bible, etc…)

4.   John 10:10 says that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He wants to take your stuff, end your life and erase your legacy. Describe a way the Devil has tried to attack you and your family. Stop and pray over these areas.

5.   The enemy tries to steal your time, your energy, and your resources. How do you combat these attacks?

6.   Jesus said, “I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” What would a more abundant life look like for you?
