ICEBREAKER: If you had to go into the dessert what three things would you take with you, assuming food, water and shelter was provided?

 

DEFINITION: Bondage: to be under the control or subjugation of something or someone. To be oppressed, abused, and subdued. People in bondage live in the past, make excuses, accept defeat, often refuse to take risks or opportunities.

2.    Fathered not enslaved

3.    Motivated not manipulated

4.    Inspected not insulted

5.    Inspired not intimidated

6.    Encouraged not enticed

7.    Emancipated not incarcerated

1.    Name a type of bondage from which Americans need to be delivered?

2.    How do free people think differently from those are enslaved?

3.    Israel was called to dispossess 7 nations because of their wickedness. What are some of the enemies God has called us as his people to deal with?

4.    If God were to suddenly direct you to uproot your family and move or take a new job or start a new ministry or step through a new door in your life what would be some of the typical excuses we would use?

5.    God said to Israel remember or don’t forget the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt. Why do we forget the Lord? Name some examples of how we have forgotten God in this nation.
