DEFINITIONS:  Habit: a manner of conducting oneself; a prevailing disposition or character of a person’s thought and feelings; mental makeup; a behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition or physiologic exposure that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance

                       Holiness: The face or essence of God’s being that refuses to allow Him to ever be reduced from who He is. God’s set apartness, His uniqueness, His purity.

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.      Highly Holy people love reading, meditating, memorizing and confessing God’s Word. When is your favorite time to spend Bible reading and prayer?

 

2.      Highly Holy people are devoted to following Christ no matter what. What part of your life has been the most difficult to trust the Savior with?  (Finances, Health, Relationships, Grades, Job, Fear…)

 

3.      Highly Holy people live each day guided by the Holy Spirit.  What are some ways the Holy Spirit uses to guide believers?

 

4.      Highly Holy people are accountable to God’s House and His people.  What are some of the reasons that church attendance is important?

 

5.      Highly Holy people are obedient in separating themselves from the spirit of the world.  How does the spirit of the world try to get believers back into its patterns and lifestyle?
