4. Knowing someone by having a face to face encounter
5. Knowing someone by having an intimate encounter

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:
Why
is it so hard for some people to just sit still and get alone with God or
anyone for that matter?
Psalm
8:2 declares out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast ordained
strength (praise) because of thine enemies that thou mightest still
the enemy and the avenger. In
other words your praise is your strength in times of weakness and causes God‘s
enemies to shut up. In what area of the
your life do you need to send up a praise in advance this week?
Psalm
4:4 says, Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed,
and be still. Selah. When was the last time you couldn’t
get to sleep because you had so much on you and tell us why if you can/

46 tells us three times to selah or pause and think on this. As a group
determine with each selah what you think God wants us to learn or think about.
Psalm
46:10 says “Be Still and know that I am God…” In the
stillness of God’s presence there is an experiential knowing. Name one thing that sitting in God’s presence
will cause you to know.
