ICEBREAKER:  Tell us about any camping experience you have ever had.

DEFINITIONS:  Dwelt: Ske-noo 1) to fix one's tabernacle, have one's tabernacle, abide (or live) in a tabernacle (or tent), tabernacle 2) to dwell

OUTLINE: 5 Old Testament Camping Rules

1.    We must pitch our tents together

2.    We must camp and break camp with our standard

3.    Our standard or banner must be displayed for all to see

4.    Everyone must be in their place

5.    We must camp around the tabernacle

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.    Name one thing that Jesus Christ gave up to come to earth as God in human form.

2.    How could God hold all of Israel responsible for what Achan did?

3.    If you had a family crest or banner what would it have on it as the symbol of what your family stands for and does?

4.    Name one thing that you think the world would like to see out of God’s people.

5.    Name one thing that God has called you to do to serve your church, family and/or community.

6.    What would it be like to really go camping with God?

7.    When you go camping sometimes there are signs that read “Do not feed the animals”.  Why is that?  And what are some of the animals in the spiritual dimension that keep staying around because we keep feeding them even though we are telling them to leave?
