Grow:  To increase in size, amount & degree; to progress to maturity.

Train: To nurture & guide a child according to his/her unique bent.

Grow Up (Aspire higher)

Grow In (Becoming a better you)

Grow Out (Reaching out beyond yourself)

Grow Uniquely (Don’t compare, prepare)

Grow Together (Not alone, as one)

Grow Right (Drive a stake)

Grow Slow (Growth takes time)

Grow Steady (I’m in it to win it)

Grow in Love (Becoming a servant, your life is found when you give it away)

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.    Growing Down” means developing deep roots.  Deep roots determine the quality of growth & fruitfulness.  There are at least 3 or more different types of storms that will test your root system.  Tell us one that you have dealt with or have been dealing with.

a.    Storm of trouble

b.   Storm of temptation (to quit, to run, etc.)

c.    Storm of teaching (whatever you talk, you will have to walk)

2.    Growing Up” means discovering your true gifts, strengths, weaknesses and dreams.  Tell us one dream or goal for yourself that you would like to accomplish in your lifetime.

 

3.    Growing In” means to grow in character and attitude.  Tell us one character strength God is working on in you right now.

4.    Growing Out” is like the picture of a great tree reaching out its branches full of fruit not for itself but for others, providing shelter and nourishment.  Tell us of one vision you have to help or serve others.

 

5.    Growing Uniquely” reminds us that each one of us is a unique work of God’s grace.  We are not to compare ourselves to others but to prepare ourselves for others.  How do you usually compare yourself to others?
