“Let it Fall”

ICEBREAKER:  What was the worst fall you ever had? How embarrassed were you? How bad were you hurt? Who saw you fall?

TEXT:  5 Principle of a Fall

1.    God keeps a record of every fall.

Matthew 10:9 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.

2.    In every fall there are redemptive seeds for miracles.

John 12:24 I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies; it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

3.    Everyone falls but the righteous keep getting up.

Proverbs 24:16 for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again

4.    Some things can only be learned through a fall because pride is blind to its own weaknesses

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

5.    Some falls can be prevented

Proverbs 11:14 Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.
