ICEBREAKER:  What is the most unusual gift that you have ever given and/or what is the most unusual or strange gift you have ever received?

Giving is a three step process

1.     A Cheerful Heart = Right Attitude

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.    What are some of the feelings that we associate with giving both negative and positive? (Fear, Anger, etc…)

2.    What is the biggest difference in your family, your church, your school, your job or your community that you feel God has called you to make?

3.    Identify what change God is asking you to make right now as a gift to Him.

4.    The Bible says we are to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, strength and mind and The Message Bible says with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence.  What do you think is the difference between these and which one is the most difficult?

5.    If God told you to give the most valuable gift you could give to someone without spending any more money what would you give?

6.    1 John 3:17 (The Message) says, This is how we’ve come to understand and experience love; Christ sacrificed His life for us.  How did most of us learn the concept of love and giving?

7.    Why do you think that it is so hard for most people to tithe and give to God?
