DEFINITION:  Ultimatum

A final proposition, condition or demand.  One whose rejection will end negotiations and cause a resort to force or other direct action.

1.    Ben Hadad served King Ahab with an ultimatum to give him Israel’s silver, gold, lovely ladies and their beautiful children.  When King Ahab complied, Ben Hadad said “I want everything that you think is precious.”  How does this story illustrate what happens when we compromise with the devil?
