ICEBREAKER:  Describe how Easter was/is different at your house from any other Sunday? (Activities, food, outfits, attitudes) In other words what is your favorite thing about Easter?

He Purchased Our Ability to Be Blessed & Bless Others

6.    Crown of Thorns:

He Purchased Our Authority

7.    Pierced His Side:

He Purchased our Ability to Reproduce Spiritual Sons

1.    Have you ever seen the movie “The Passion” or a live passion play of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection?  What impacted you most?

2.    Who in your lifetime have you seen suffer the most? Explain.

3.    Name one positive thing that we can learn from suffering?

a.    You learn compassion for others

b.   You learn to walk in obedience & faith  

c.    You learn that you have more strength than you thought

6.    It is amazing that King David wrote Psalm 22, hundreds of years before Jesus crucifixion.  Name one thing or verse that reminds you of something that happened during the passion of Christ.

7.    According to Hebrews 12:2 how did Jesus press past the cross and where is He now?

8.    Mankind fell in a garden; Jesus began His suffering in a garden; How would you say the garden of your life is looking right now?
