What is your favorite bread and why?.. whole wheat, rye, pumpernickel, corn tortilla, pita, matzo, banana nut,..cash…? If you were going to Subway, which bread would you choose for your sandwich?

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

 

 1.    According to I Corinthians 15:57, God makes us to be 

more than conquerors. How does this verse say that He does it?

 

2.  When God raises up royalty, He does it for a noble cause. What is the noble cause God has anointed you for?

 

3.  God sent Samuel to anoint the King. Samuel would have anointed what naturally appeared successful. What characteristics or qualities was God looking for, that He found in David?

 

4.   Goliath showed up in a valley to torment all of Israel, but God had an alley of escape called “David.” Would you say you are entering a valley?...in a valley? …or have  just come through a valley?

 

 

5.   Those who are in a valley: Why do you think

 God allowed the giant to show up? Do you know where your alley is?  There is an alley in every valley.

 

6.   David’s father did not call for him when Samuel was looking for someone to anoint. David’s brothers did not believe in him when he showed up on the battlefield . King Saul tried to kill him 21 times. While David was accepted by God, he was rejected by almost everyone at some point. Who have you felt most rejected by, even though you are accepted by God? How do you deal with those who reject you?
