ICEBREAKER:  Spring Has Sprung!

When winter is over and an unusually warm spring has finally arrived what is the first out door activity you can’t wait to do? Swim, run, yard work, fish, golf, tennis, wash car, ride in a convertible with top down, grill, go boating, water ski, bicycle, roller blade, wear shorts and T shirt, sunbathe, plant garden, walk dog, go on a picnic, etc…

STUDY GROUP QUESTIONS:

1.        If you could have a special year of blessing starting this week how would this year be different from last year?

a.        Relationships would be stronger

b.        Business would be more successful

c.        Health would be restored

d.        Life would be more enjoyable

e.        Ministry opportunities would open up

f.         Gas prices would go down

g.        War would be over

h.        Ice cream and Twinkies would be free

2.        Every fifty years in the Hebrew culture they had a special year of blessing called “jubilee,” meaning that all debts were canceled.  If all your debts were canceled how would your life change and how would you change to stay out of the wrong kind of debt?

3.        What do spiritual blessings refer to, from last week, in Ephesians 1:3?

4.        On the cross Jesus said, “It is finished!”  What was finished?

5.        If God were to ask you to finish or to be finished with something in your life what would it be?

6.        Resurrection symbolizes a new beginning.  Its not enough to finish something, what does God want to begin anew for you?
