Have the first person draw a simple drawing on next person’s back and continue until the last person.  Then have the last person draw the picture on paper and compare it to the original.

 

TEXT: Genesis 27:1-30

 

QUESTIONS:

 

1.      Why Did Isaac call for his son Esau and what did he tell him to do? (Verses 1-4)

 

2.      What did Rebekah tell her son Jacob to do? (verses 5-10)

 

3.      What do think she was teaching her son through this action?

a.      It’s okay to cheat to get what you want.

b.      Mother always knows best.

c.      It’s okay to take advantage of old people

d.      She favored Jacob while Isaac favored Esau

 

4.      Who was the favored one in your house when you were growing up and how did that make you feel?

 

5.      What was Jacob’s greatest concern and how did his mother help him resolve it? (verses 11-13)

 

6.      Why do you think that Isaac fell for this deception?

a.      He never dreamed someone that close to him would deceive him.

b.      He became more dependent on his sense of smell and touch because of his blindness.
