ICEBREAKER:  What are the last five things you’ve changed in your life? phone number, jobs, best friend, favorite ice cream, names, sheets, pant’s size, hair color, doctors, cars, light bulb, diets, tooth paste, the time on your clock, seasons, etc...

 

DEFINITION:  Change means total transformation.  To be transfigured from the inside out into a completely new species.

 

TEXT:  2 Corinthians 3

 

QUESTIONS:

1.     What gives us the strength to  be bold enough to change? Vs12

2.     What is the hardest thing to accept about change?

a.       fear of the unknown

b.       adjusting to new relationships

c.        anxiety regarding new technology

d.       Not having enough room in your pocketbook

3.     Who is God’s agent or helper when it comes to change and how does He help us change? Vs 17

4.     With God’s liberating help what do you think God wants you to change the most in your life?  Habits, Attitudes, Desires, Behaviors, Responses, Conversations, Socks, etc…

5.     When we unveil or unmask our faces, what happens?  Vs 18

6.     What does it mean to be transformed into God’s likeness and how will that impact the world around us? 

7.     How do you deal with people that refuse to change in order improve their lives?  In other words people that will not stop being miserable and making everyone else miserable.

8.     What single event in your life has changed your life the most

and how has or can God use that event to help others?

9.     What pressure, adversity or challenge has God allowed in your life as a catalyst for repentance or change?
